Base Camp is a low-pressure accountability program designed for people navigating grief, burnout, or major life transitions. It is intentionally supportive rather than performance-driven, offering steady presence and connection without training plans, metrics, or expectations to push harder.

This program is open to runners and non-runners alike and is ideal for seasons where motivation feels thin and structure feels heavy.

WHO BASE CAMP IS FOR

Base Camp may be a good fit if you:

  • Are navigating grief, loss, burnout, or emotional exhaustion

  • Feel overwhelmed by life demands

  • Want accountability without performance goals

  • Do better with gentle check-ins rather than rigid plans

  • Are moving your body in ways that feel supportive (walking, yoga, surfing, strength, running, or rest)

  • Want to stay connected rather than disappear during hard seasons

WHAT BASE CAMP IS (AND ISN’T)

This is:

  • Supportive, permission-based accountability

  • Consistent, human-centered check-ins

  • Choice-driven movement encouragement

  • Flexible and low pressure by design

This is not:

  • A training plan

  • Performance or race coaching

  • A productivity or discipline program

  • Therapy or crisis support

You don’t need more discipline—you need support that meets you where you are.
— Coach Sarah

HOW BASE CAMP WORKS

  • Participants choose how much accountability feels supportive

  • The program can be paused or stopped at any time

IMPORTANT NOTE

Base Camp is not a replacement for mental health care. Individuals experiencing emotional distress are encouraged to seek support from licensed professionals.

The role of this program is to offer steady presence, gentle accountability, and compassionate support — not to fix, push, or rush anyone forward.
